Job Description

As a Policy Analyst at Community Development Agency, you will harness your expertise to critically assess various public policies. This role involves collaboration with stakeholders, conducting policy analysis, and formulating recommendations that align with our mission to enhance community well-being in Pretoria.

Responsibilities

• Perform rigorous analysis of existing policies to assess their impact.
• Research emerging trends in public policy and make recommendations based on findings.
• Develop comprehensive policy briefs and position papers.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to support various policy initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and best practices.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented policies.
• Facilitate training and workshops for stakeholders on new policy initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or related field
• Master's degree in Public Policy or Governance preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in policy analysis
