Job Description

We are seeking a talented Cybersecurity Specialist to join our Pretoria team. This role involves assessing, implementing, and maintaining security measures for our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience in threat analysis, incident response, and security frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of security controls and make improvements.
  • Provide expertise in responding to cybersecurity incidents.
  • Coordinate security activities with external vendors and partners.
  • Monitor compliance with security policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the development of cybersecurity strategies.
  • Support the establishment of a security-focused culture within the organization.
  • Participate in the investigation of security breaches.
  • Advise management on security risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Engage in continuous monitoring of the organization’s cybersecurity landscape.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
  • Master's degree in Cybersecurity or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity roles
