Cybersecurity Specialist

Job Description

As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of protecting our organization's sensitive data in Bloemfontein. You will conduct regular security assessments and devise strategies to mitigate risks. Candidates must possess strong analytical skills and a proactive attitude towards cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
• Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity.
• Maintain and operate security tools and technologies.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and other agencies when necessary.
• Act as a point of contact for cybersecurity inquiries.
• Participate in cybersecurity audits and compliance assessments.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Cybersecurity
• Relevant professional certifications are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity roles
