Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated team at Animal Care Solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in clinical settings, a passion for animal care, and excellent communication skills to assist both our veterinary team and pet owners.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinary staff in daily surgeries and procedures.
• Assist in the rehabilitation and recovery of pets.
• Conduct inventory checks and manage supplies.
• Provide emergency care and first aid treatments.
• Engage with clients to ensure their questions and concerns are addressed.
• Help with administrative tasks such as booking appointments.
• Participate in continued education and training opportunities.
• Advocate for animal welfare and best practices within the clinic.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Veterinary Technology or a related field
• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a veterinary setting

Certifications

• Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
