Responsibilities

• Oversee pharmacy technicians and support staff.
• Monitor and report adverse drug reactions.
• Review and interpret prescriptions for correctness.
• Provide immunizations and other health services as applicable.
• Participate in the development of patient care programs.
• Stay updated on the latest pharmaceutical developments and trends.
• Recruit, train, and mentor new pharmacy staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Postgraduate qualification is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a clinical setting

• Medication Therapy Management
• Pharmaceutical Calculations

Certifications

• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Certified Immunizer

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
