Physiotherapist

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Physiotherapist to support our patients in achieving their physical health goals. As part of a collaborative healthcare team in Durban, you will assess and treat patients, document treatment progress, and communicate effectively with other health professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patients' physical dysfunctions using health assessments.
• Develop appropriate treatment strategies to enhance physical performance.
• Guide patients through exercises and therapies designed to promote healing.
• Ensure proper management of patient files and documentation.
• Engage in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient care strategies.
• Foster a supportive and encouraging environment for all patients during therapy.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy
• Postgraduate qualifications in Physiotherapy is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of clinical experience in physiotherapy

Certifications

• Physiotherapy Registration with Health Professions Council (HPCSA)
• Advanced Physiotherapy Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Familiarity with Pilates for Rehabilitation: Experience in integrating Pilates methods into therapy for recovery.
• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems: Knowledge of EMR for efficient patient record management.
