AI Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an AI Engineer with proven experience in machine learning and artificial intelligence to be a vital part of our Johannesburg team. You will be responsible for developing algorithms, optimizing processes, and contributing towards the advancement of AI technology in various applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy machine learning algorithms for real-time applications.
• Work closely with data scientists and data engineers on model deployment and performance tuning.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices in AI development.
• Utilize cloud-based technologies for scaling AI applications effectively.
• Regularly assess model performance and iterate on implementations based on results.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals and estimations.
• Engage with external partners to integrate AI technologies into broader systems.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in AI and machine learning

• Deep Learning Specialization (Coursera)
