Job Description

As an Occupational Therapist in our Bloemfontein branch, you'll focus on evaluating and assisting patients to enhance their quality of life. You'll work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide support and innovative treatment plans for optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients using various evaluation tools and techniques.
  • Design and implement therapeutic activities tailored to individual needs.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of therapy and modify plans as required.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions for staff and community members.
  • Encourage patient participation in their care and recovery plans.
  • Document treatment procedures and patient progress with precision.
  • Stay informed about advancements in occupational therapy practices.
  • Assist in the development of community resources for patient care.
  • Support research initiatives within the organization related to therapy.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Therapy is advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a multidisciplinary setting
