Aerospace Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Aerospace Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will work on various aerospace projects focusing on design, testing, and implementation of aerospace systems. This position requires strong analytical skills, the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, and a passion for innovative engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and evaluate aerospace systems and components.
• Conduct reliability and safety analyses to ensure compliance with aviation regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project development.
• Participate in the development of technical documentation.
• Support test planning and execution of aerospace tests.
• Identify and troubleshoot design issues and recommend solutions.
• Provide technical support during the manufacturing phase.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
• Professional engineer registration is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in aerospace systems design
