We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our vibrant team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and overseeing construction projects, ensuring they meet the required standards and regulations. You will work closely with architects, city planners, and other engineers to design solutions that are both effective and sustainable. Your expertise will be vital in addressing the challenges faced during the construction phases, while also innovating new methods to enhance project efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of civil engineering projects.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
• Assess the impact of projects on the environment and community.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Manage contract negotiations and vendor relationships.
• Utilize CAD software to produce engineering drawings and plans.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
• Facilitate training workshops for staff and interns.
• Ensure all engineering work aligns with the overall project goals and objectives.
• Act as a liaison between the engineering team and other departments.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering roles

Languages

• English: Fluent
