Job Description

As a Stripper Shovel Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining stripper shovels to excavate overburden materials in the mining sector. This role is vital for exposing mineral ore and ensuring efficient production while adhering to strict safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Control heavy machinery to perform excavation tasks efficiently.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of machinery to ensure operational readiness.

Requirements

Education

• No specific qualifications required, but relevant certifications in operating heavy machinery are advantageous.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy machinery, preferably stripper shovels or similar equipment in a mining environment.
