As a Roof Bolters Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and quality of bolted connections in various mining structures. Your expertise will help maintain structural integrity while adhering to stringent safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections of bolted connections in mining structures.
• Compile detailed reports and gather data for analysis.
• Assist in developing inspection protocols and procedures.
• Advise on material specifications for bolting applications.
• Support project managers in meeting deadlines while maintaining quality.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification in Mechanical Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 2-5 years’ experience in a mining or construction environment

Technical Skills

• Inspection Tools Proficiency
• Torque Wrench Operation

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Decision Making

Certifications

• Bolting Inspection Certification
• Certified Quality Inspector (CQI)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certification in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT): Professionally recognized NDT certification to augment inspection capabilities.
• Experience with Pipeline Inspections: Hands-on experience inspecting bolted connections in pipeline structures.
