We are on the lookout for a passionate Environmental Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in environmental science and engineering, helping us to design and implement effective strategies for sustainability and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement sustainable practices for resource management.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor environmental conditions.
• Prepare and review environmental studies, reports, and proposals.
• Advise management on environmental risk and compliance matters.
• Develop partnerships with local organizations to promote environmental initiatives.
• Manage environmental projects from inception to completion.
• Stay updated with environmental legislation and best practices.
• Assist in grant writing for environmental projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Science is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the environmental sector

• Ecological Modelling

Certifications

• Certified Environmental Professional (CEP)
• LEED Green Associate Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
