Structural Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Structural Engineer with a strong foundation in civil engineering principles, capable of designing and analyzing structures. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial projects, ensuring that designs comply with safety standards and regulations while also being aesthetically pleasing.

Responsibilities

• Research and integrate modern materials and construction methods.
• Negotiate with suppliers and contractors to ensure project delivery.
• Assess project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Contribute to sustainability initiatives in design practices.
• Maintain documentation and records of project progress and changes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on commercial projects

Technical Skills

• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
• Seismic Design Principles

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• International Building Code (IBC) Certification
• Certified Professional Engineer (CPE)

Languages

• English: Fluent
