Logistics Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to oversee our logistics operations in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing supply chain processes, coordinating shipments, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. This role requires excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with suppliers, clients, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of logistics and supply chain management.
• Ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
• Communicate with clients regarding shipping status and delivery schedules.
• Develop logistics plans and coordinate with various departments.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of logistics trends and technologies.
• Train and guide junior logistics staff.
• Manage customs clearance processes for international shipments.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Additional certifications in logistics or supply chain management are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience working in logistics or supply chain roles

• Previous experience in warehouse management: Hands-on experience managing warehouse operations is a plus.
