Pharmacist

Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic pharmacist to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality pharmaceutical care, ensuring optimal medication management, and delivering outstanding customer service. As part of our team, you will play a critical role in patient education and medication therapy management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct consultations to assess patients' medication needs.
• Engage in chronic disease management programs.
• Implement quality improvement initiatives in pharmacy services.
• Respond to patient inquiries regarding medications and health concerns.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
• Manage patient insurance claims for medication coverage.
• Facilitate medication adherence through follow-up consultations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
• Postgraduate diploma in Clinical Pharmacy is an advantage.

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a clinical pharmacy setting is preferred
