Responsibilities

• Evaluate insurance applications and assess risks based on underwriting guidelines.

• Conduct client interviews and assess financial information to guide underwriting decisions.
• Collaborate with agents and brokers to provide exceptional service and support.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance.
• Prepare and present underwriting recommendations to management.
• Monitor and review existing policies for renewal assessments.
• Document underwriting decisions and maintain accurate records of risk evaluations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of underwriting experience, preferably in property and casualty insurance
