Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Quality Control Engineer to join our Midrand team. Your role will be crucial in overseeing production processes and ensuring adherence to quality standards. You will be responsible for conducting inspections, testing various materials, and creating detailed reports to enhance product quality.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate production processes and suggest improvements for quality enhancement.
• Utilize statistical methods to monitor and improve product quality.
• Conduct inspections and tests on materials, products, and processes.
• Provide expert recommendations on product specifications.
• Document and report any discrepancies or quality non-compliance.
• Engage in continuous improvement activities within the quality team.
• Facilitate communication regarding quality concerns between departments.
• Support product development by providing quality requirements and guidelines.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance or Engineering

Experience

• 3+ years in quality control with an understanding of manufacturing standards

Certifications

• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
