Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and products. A strong understanding of engineering principles and software is essential. Candidates must have experience in project management and be capable of collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop prototypes and oversee testing phases.
• Collaborate with other engineers to optimize designs.
• Conduct research to identify new technologies and trends in mechanical engineering.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Support clients by providing technical advice and solutions.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project updates and challenges.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Additional certifications in project management are advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of mechanical engineering experience in a similar role

Languages

• English: Fluent
