Job Description

The Floor Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the floor and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This role involves managing staff, addressing customer needs, and maintaining a high standard of service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate floor workers to achieve production goals.
• Monitor daily operations for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Implement best practices for safety and quality assurance.
• Assist in inventory management and ordering processes.
• Communicate with management regarding staff issues or concerns.
• Facilitate team meetings to discuss performance and improvement strategies.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist in training and developing new employees.
• Report any machinery or equipment malfunctions.
• Encourage a positive and productive team culture.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate
• Relevant Diploma or Degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or retail setting.
