Job Description

As a Cost Estimator / Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in customer interactions, providing estimates and coordinating services to ensure a seamless experience for our clients. Your expertise in the automotive sector will be instrumental in helping customers understand their service needs and associated costs.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to identify their requirements and suggest appropriate services.
• Schedule and manage service appointments, ensuring resource allocation is maximized.
• Deliver precise cost estimates while explaining the rationale for repairs.
• Keep customers updated on the progress of their vehicles throughout the service process.
• Resolve customer complaints in a timely, effective manner to maintain satisfaction.
• Document all customer interactions and service details accurately.
• Work closely with technicians to ensure services are completed on time.
• Promote additional services or products that could benefit customers and enhance their experience.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and relevant quality standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and service delivery.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate (Grade 12) is required
• Additional certifications in customer service or automotive services are preferable

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a customer service role within the automotive industry
