Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in our Durban facility, you will play a critical role in patient care, providing compassionate support, managing medical needs, and working alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care while fostering a compassionate environment.
• Administer IV medications and monitor patients for reactions and efficacy.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure continuity of care.
• Assist with diagnostic tests and interpretations as instructed.
• Encourage patient feedback to improve service delivery.
• Maintain stock and supply of medical equipment and related items.
• Implement care protocols in alignment with best practices.
• Document patient interactions thoroughly and timely.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in an acute care setting preferred

• Critical Care Nursing

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Leadership Experience: Previous experience in charge nurse roles or team leadership.
