Looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to enhance our innovative team in Cape Town. You will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between development and operations, focusing on improving deployment pipelines and system monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation scripts to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Manage backups, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
• Optimize application deployments for reliability and scalability.
• Engage in peer code reviews and provide feedback.
• Contribute to improving the infrastructure monitoring and alerting systems.
• Assist in cloud cost management and optimization strategies.
• Train and mentor junior team members in best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field
• Master's degree in Cloud Computing or a related field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of DevOps experience or related roles

Certifications

Languages
