We are on the lookout for a Civil Engineer to join us in Durban. This role involves overseeing a variety of civil projects, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing teams. Your expertise will be pivotal in delivering engineering excellence and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Design civil engineering projects by studying and interpreting client requirements.
• Manage the implementation of civil projects to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Conduct feasibility analyses for proposed projects and ensure they adhere to budget constraints.
• Coordinate with other professionals and construction teams throughout project lifecycles.
• Ensure all projects comply with health and safety regulations.
• Prepare and present project proposals and final reports to stakeholders.
• Utilize CAD software and other tools to create detailed engineering drafts.
• Assist in site inspections and assessments to ensure project specifications are met.
• Research and apply technical knowledge to improve project outcomes.
• Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineering registration preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in civil engineering projects

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Project Management
• Structural Analysis

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Registered Professional Engineer (PrEng) - preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent
