We’re on the lookout for a Mechanical Engineer to contribute to our engineering projects in Cape Town. This role involves designing, testing, and maintaining mechanical systems with a strong emphasis on sustainable practices. Bring your expertise and passion to our collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in the full product design lifecycle from concept through to manufacturing.
  • Utilize CAD software to create detailed engineering drawings.
  • Analyze the performance of mechanical systems and recommend enhancements.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible.
  • Assist in the debugging of systems and resolve issues promptly.
  • Compile project documentation and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Implement best practices in mechanical design and engineering.
  • Support the development of project budgets and schedules.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Attend engineering seminars and workshops as necessary.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering
