Our Johannesburg-based firm is on the lookout for an experienced Tax Specialist. In this role, you will manage tax returns, provide advice on minimizing tax liabilities, and keep up-to-date with tax legislation changes. The position is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in taxation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Provide tax compliance and consultancy services.
• Advise clients on tax planning and strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
• Keep up to date with South African tax legislation and practices.
• Conduct tax audits and assist in resolving tax disputes.
• Develop and maintain tax records and documentation.
• Support clients through tax queries and provide timely advice.
• Collaborate with the finance team to report financial data.
• Perform tax research and analysis to support business decisions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Postgraduate Diploma in Taxation or similar is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a taxation role
