SEO Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented SEO Specialist to join our Johannesburg office. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of SEO strategies, analytics, and digital marketing tools to increase our clients’ visibility online. You'll work closely with our content and design teams to develop effective SEO strategies and campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve website performance through SEO adjustments.
• Conduct regular keyword research and target gap analysis.
• Collaborate with writing teams to align SEO and content strategies.
• Identify opportunities for content expansion and creation.
• Increase organic search traffic through effective keyword targeting.
• Analyze competitors’ SEO strategies and performance.
• Utilize Google Analytics and other tools to report on outcomes and recommendations.
• Integrate SEO strategies across all digital marketing efforts.
• Collaborate with media teams to develop impactful metadata.
• Provide guidance to the marketing team on SEO best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5 years of experience in SEO and digital marketing roles

• Content Management Systems (CMS)
