SEO Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented SEO Specialist to join our Johannesburg office. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of SEO strategies, analytics, and digital marketing tools to increase our clients’ visibility online. You'll work closely with our content and design teams to develop effective SEO strategies and campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Drive the overall SEO strategy and execution for multiple clients.
• Evaluate potential backlinks and optimize link acquisition strategies.
• Keep updated with the latest SEO changes and platform updates.
• Monitor analytics and reporting to track the evolution of SEO efforts.
• Optimize digital content for improved visibility in search engine results.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to enhance the user experience on optimization strategies.
• Assess the effectiveness of strategies implemented, adapting as needed.
• Provide recommendations for improving mobile website optimization.
• Create and manage schedules for SEO initiatives with content publishing.
• Work alongside developers to implement technical SEO improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5 years of experience in SEO and digital marketing roles
