A Smutter plays a critical role in ensuring grain quality by inspecting and cleaning it before processing. This position requires attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of grain.
• Use machinery to cleanse grain of impurities.
• Keep processing areas clean and organized.
• Log any operational issues for review.
• Engage in training and skill development activities.
• Collaborate with the quality control team.
• Maintain optimal equipment settings.
• Participate in safety drills and training.
• Help ensure a positive and productive team environment.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in grain processing or agriculture is preferred

Experience

• Experience operating industrial grain processing equipment is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of grain types
• Industrial equipment operation

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Forklift Operator Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
