We are seeking a dedicated Veterinarian to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will diagnose and treat animal ailments, perform surgeries, and provide preventative care. You will work with a passionate team committed to animal health and welfare.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality medical care and treatment to animals.
• Advise pet owners on health and wellness topics.
• Manage clinic operations and ensure optimal patient care.
• Develop treatment plans based on diagnostic results.
• Administer anaesthetics and conduct surgeries.
• Support the veterinary team through active participation in case discussions.
• Research and implement new veterinary techniques.
• Foster positive relationships with pet owners.
• Participate in pet health fairs and community events.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc)
• Specialization in a veterinary field is advantageous

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in veterinary medicine

Technical Skills

• Clinical diagnostics
• Anesthesia administration

Certifications

• Certified Veterinary Practitioner (CVP)
• Pet First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
