Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Public Health Analyst to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting research and analyzing data to inform public health policies and initiatives. Your insights will be critical in addressing health challenges within the community and promoting health equity.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze health data to identify patterns and trends affecting public health.
  • Work with local government to implement evidence-based health programs.
  • Develop communication materials to share public health insights.
  • Engage with community members to assess health needs and priorities.
  • Create data visualization tools to present analytical findings.
  • Participate in public health campaigns and events.
  • Collaborate with other analysts on projects impacting regional and national health.
  • Document processes and outcomes of health interventions.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, or related field
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in public health analysis or related field
