Job Description

We are looking for Motorboat Mechanics and Service Technicians to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing rigging systems on watercraft. A passion for the marine industry and strong technical skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot rigging-related issues in diverse watercraft.
  • Collaborate with other technical staff to improve service delivery.
  • Keep detailed records of repair and maintenance work.
  • Conduct safety checks and service recommendations.
  • Provide excellent customer service and advice to boat owners.
  • Ensure compliance with industry safety regulations.
  • Oversee the use of tools and equipment in maintenance tasks.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical diploma in a relevant field is an advantage
Experience
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in marine services.
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
  • Use of diagnostic tools

Certifications

Languages
  • English: Fluent
