We are on the lookout for a passionate Mechanical Engineer to take charge of various projects in Johannesburg. Your role will involve drafting designs, conducting analysis, and ensuring compliance with safety standards in an innovative engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously.
• Utilize 3D modelling software for innovative designs.
• Conduct stress analysis and simulations to test product reliability.
• Partner with the quality assurance team to ensure product excellence.
• Actively participate in design reviews and safety assessments.
• Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements.
• Conduct training sessions for team members on new technologies and methodologies.
• Provide technical support for product launches and after-sales services.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering roles

Technical Skills

• Catia
• Thermodynamics
• Lean Manufacturing Principles

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Leadership

Certifications

• Six Sigma Black Belt
• Certified Engineering Technician (CET)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience with CFD software: Experience using Computational Fluid Dynamics software for analysis.
• Familiarity with ISO Standards: Understanding of ISO standards related to mechanical engineering.
