Pharmacist

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented pharmacist to join our dynamic team in Pretoria. In this role, you will be responsible for dispensing medication, consulting with patients, and ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceuticals. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Review physician prescriptions for appropriateness and legality.
• Advise on the safe use of medications and their interactions.
• Participate in quality improvement projects within the pharmacy.
• Address and resolve patient inquiries and complaints related to medications.
• Document all consultations and interventions accurately.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or equivalent
• Additional certifications in clinical pharmacy preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a community pharmacy
