Job Description

As a Field Hauler at Agri Logistics SA, your primary responsibility will be to transport goods, ensuring safe and timely delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills and the ability to work independently in various conditions.

Responsibilities

• Drive to various locations to transport agricultural materials, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Check vehicles prior to departures for any mechanical issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in transport vehicles.
• Assist in loading and unloading when necessary.
• Provide accurate and timely reports of deliveries.
• Work collaboratively with logistics and warehouse teams.
• Complete necessary documentation for goods transported.
• Provide excellent customer service during interactions.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Proven experience with hauling hazardous materials is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Heavy vehicle operation
• Safety procedures

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Time management

Certifications

• Forklift Operator Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous

• Ability to speak an additional South African language: Advantages of multilingual communication in the field.
