Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Cybersecurity Specialist to enhance our security protocols and protect our information systems in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in cybersecurity principles and hands-on experience working with security tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and implement the organization’s cybersecurity policy and procedures.
• Analyze and respond to security breaches and incidents.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure a comprehensive security strategy.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Conduct security awareness training for new staff.
• Identify potential vulnerabilities in systems and applications and suggest improvements.
• Stay informed about emerging security threats and implement new technologies as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in cybersecurity roles
