We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Technologist to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will possess a solid foundation in mechanical design and engineering principles, contributing to various projects within the general engineering sector. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting analyses, and ensuring timely project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems and components for various applications.
• Conduct simulations to assess mechanical systems' performance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for project success.
• Ensure the delivery of project documentation and compliance.
• Provide mentorship to junior mechanical staff.
• Engage in hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in industrial mechanical engineering

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in HVAC Systems: Knowledge of HVAC systems design and implementation.
