Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our Cape Town team. You will provide advanced clinical care, working closely with physicians and specialists. The ideal candidate will be skilled in diagnosis and treatment, ensuring comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient assessments and evaluations to determine health needs.
  • Formulate and execute treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare team.
  • Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to understand their health concerns.
  • Administer and oversee prescribed medications and treatments.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups to monitor patient health outcomes.
  • Engage in professional development and continuing education.
  • Promote community health initiatives and outreach programs.
  • Actively participate in departmental meetings and case discussions.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Further training or specialization in primary care is advantageous
Experience
  • 2+ years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
