Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team in Pretoria. In this role, you will assist veterinarians with various medical procedures, provide care for animals, and ensure a safe environment for both pets and staff. Responsibilities

  • Conduct health assessments and physical examinations of pets.
  • Support veterinary staff with laboratory procedures.
  • Monitor anesthesia levels and vital signs during surgery.
  • Administer emergency first aid to animals as needed.
  • Record health histories and provide detailed reports.
  • Maintain inventory of veterinary supplies and medications.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
  • Assist in the coordination of pet adoptions and care.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma or Degree in Veterinary Science
  • Advanced certification in a related field is advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of direct veterinary technician experience
