Job Description

As an Optician / Ophthalmic Dispenser at Top Eye Care Services, you'll play a crucial role in assisting customers with selecting and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses based on their unique needs. Your expertise will ensure that clients leave satisfied with their eyewear choices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed eye measurements for eyewear fitting.
• Collaborate with the optometry team to provide excellent patient care.
• Assist with training new staff members on eyewear fitting techniques.
• Utilize customer relationship management software for client tracking.
• Provide follow-up care to ensure customer satisfaction with their eyewear.
• Participate in marketing efforts to promote new products and advancements.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate
• Diploma or certificate in Ophthalmic Dispensing or a related field is preferred.

Experience

• At least 2 years' experience in optical retail or a related field.

Technical Skills

• Strong interpersonal skills
• Proficient in eyewear fitting techniques

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Fluent
