Job Description

We are on the lookout for an IT Support Technician to join our dedicated team in Kimberley. The ideal candidate will have a knack for troubleshooting and resolving IT issues swiftly, while providing excellent customer service. Your role will involve assisting users with their technical problems, setting up hardware, and ensuring a smooth operation of IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level support and troubleshooting for all IT issues.
• Assist in the configuration and installation of computer systems.
• Maintain an inventory of IT hardware and software.
• Work closely with other IT staff to improve systems and services.
• Help enforce IT security protocols and best practices.
• Communicate effectively with users to understand their technical challenges.
• Prepare user training manuals and sessions on new updates.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in IT or related field
• Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems is a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of hands-on IT support experience

• Office 365
• Active Directory

Certifications

• CompTIA Network+ Certification
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
