Job Description

A Lube Man plays a critical role in ensuring that vehicles and machinery operate efficiently. You will be responsible for lubricating machinery parts and performing essential maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine checks and oil changes on vehicles.
• Ensure proper use of protective gear and follow safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with the service team about vehicle issues.
• Keep tools and equipment organized and in good working condition.
• Assist with the training of new team members on maintenance procedures.
• Participate in meetings to discuss workflow and improvements in service delivery.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
• Relevant technical qualification preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years' experience in mechanical or automotive service

Technical Skills

• Mechanical Repair
• Preventative Maintenance

• Customer Service
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Automotive Technician Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a busy automotive environment: Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume setting.
