IT Support Technician

Job Description

Join our Port Elizabeth team as an IT Support Technician! You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving IT issues, both hardware and software, while delivering excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be proactive in identifying issues and developing effective solutions, ensuring seamless IT operations to support our team and clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage user accounts and permissions using Active Directory.
• Conduct hardware and software audits to ensure compliance.
• Support the deployment of new technology projects.
• Monitor IT systems for vulnerabilities and address them proactively.
• Communicate effectively with team members on project progress.
• Serve as a point of contact for external IT vendors.
• Prepare reports on system performance and user feedback.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in IT Support or a related field
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a technical support role

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals

Languages
