Semiconductor Processing Technicians

Job Description

As a Semiconductor Processing Technician, you will be responsible for operating diffusion equipment and ensuring that all materials are diffused accurately and consistently. You will monitor equipment performance, maintain cleanliness in the workspace, and adhere to health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of the diffusion process to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Coordinate with Quality Control for necessary adjustments.
• Conduct routine checks on equipment and report any issues.
• Assist in training new team members on production processes.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent qualification
• Relevant tertiary qualification in chemistry or a related field is preferred

Experience

• Experience working in a manufacturing or chemical environment is advantageous

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of diffusion processes
• Experience with ERP systems

Soft Skills

• Adaptability

Certifications

• First Aid Certification
• Hazardous Materials Handling Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
