Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. As a key member of our engineering unit, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing various structural projects in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all stages of structural projects to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Prepare engineering calculations and evaluations to support structural designs.
  • Liaise with local authorities and regulatory bodies regarding project permits and inspections.
  • Ensure that materials used in construction meet required standards and guide procurement as necessary.
  • Develop innovative design strategies that meet client requirements for safety and sustainability.
  • Mentor junior engineers and interns, providing guidance on engineering principles and practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering or related field
Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in structural engineering
