Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful applicant will work on diverse engineering projects, from infrastructure development to environmental assessments. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects meet regulatory standards while delivering on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Draft design plans using AutoCAD and other design software.
• Engage in project bidding processes and feasibilities.
• Liaise with local authorities for project permits and approvals.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Conduct quality assurance checks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in the preparation of tenders and proposals for new projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Additional certifications in structural design are a plus

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on engineering experience
