We are on the lookout for an Aerospace Engineer to enhance our engineering team in Pretoria. You will play a pivotal role in the design and testing of aircraft, ensuring compliance with industry standards while innovating for future advancements.

Responsibilities

• Innovate in the design and testing phases of aircraft projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new aerospace technologies.
• Collaborate with project managers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Oversee the complete lifecycle of aerospace projects from conception to production.
• Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on industry trends.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Aerospace
• Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in aerospace projects

Technical Skills

• Engineering Software (CATIA, SolidWorks)
• Flight Mechanics

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Time Management

Certifications

• Certified Engineering Technician (CET)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience in composite materials engineering: Knowledge of composite materials used in aerospace applications.
• Familiarity with aerospace regulations: Knowledge of local and international aerospace regulations and compliance.
