Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive healthcare services, including diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patient health and medical histories.
  • Provide primary care services to diverse patient populations.
  • Implement patient care plans based on clinical judgment.
  • Supervise nursing staff and assist in training.
  • Engage in community health outreach programs.
  • Participate in case management and patient follow-up.
  • Monitor outcomes and adjust care strategies as needed.
  • Develop and maintain positive patient relationships.
  • Address patient concerns and feedback effectively.
  • Support interdisciplinary team meetings and discussions.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Master's degree in Nursing Science or equivalent is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner or in a related clinical role
