Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of mechanical systems and experience in project management. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical components and systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects from concept to completion.
• Conduct failure analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in the development of engineering standards.
• Offer technical support to production teams.
• Train junior engineers and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Relevant postgraduate qualifications are advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical design

• 3D CAD Software
• FMEA
• Project Management

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking
• Effective communication

Certifications

• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor

Languages

• English: Fluent
