The successful applicant will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various mental health disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices to improve client outcomes. Responsibilities

  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance clinical skills.
  • Assist in the training and supervision of interns or junior psychotherapists.
  • Advocate for client needs within the healthcare system.
  • Monitor and evaluate treatment effectiveness and modify plans as necessary.
  • Support the development of a positive therapeutic relationship with clients.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctorate in Psychology (D.Psych) preferred
  • Clinical Psychology registration with the HPCSA required
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a clinical setting

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
