We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to oversee purchasing activities and manage supplier relationships. The ideal candidate will implement best practices in procurement processes to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure standards are met.
• Prepare procurement reports and presentations for management.
• Participate in cross-functional projects related to supply chain management.
• Address any procurement-related issues or discrepancies promptly.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in procurement in a corporate environment

Technical Skills

• Data analysis

• Interpersonal skills

Certifications

• CIPS Level 6 Diploma
• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in sustainability initiatives: Knowledge in sustainable procurement practices.
• Fluency in another official South African language: Ability to communicate in Afrikaans or Zulu is an added advantage.
